The Freightmarket.com is an open platform for various sections of the Shipping Industry to list their freight and other business requirements in the open market for bids, quotes and development of direct business between themselves. The Platform does not engage in the settlement of the freight between the participants., as it is their sole responsibility to do so. The freightmarket.com and balticfx.com are both owned by JWT Corp.
 
However the platform reserves the right to black list companies and Impose a Penalty for companies that engage in unethical business practices and publish their name and details in the News Section of the market.
 
 

 
The market is divided into Various users such as :-
 
1. Freight Buyers - (Exporters, Importers, Freight Forwarders, Freight Brokers and other intermediaries)
 
2. Freight Sellers ( Freight Forwarders, NVOCC, Freight brokers, Shipping line Rep etc.)
 
3. Airlines  ( Cargo Operating Airlines)
 
4. Ship Brokers ( Dry, Bulk etc.)
 
5. Vessel Owners ( Vessel Owners and Regional Port Agents)
 
6. Shipping Lines ( Liner Agents and Operators / NVOCC)
 
7. Truck Operators  (to be Launched Soon)
 
 

FULL CONTAINER LOAD ( FCL Market)
 
The FCL, section contains the freight requirements listed by our regd users.
 
Freight Sellers to Shipping Line can quote for these requirement direct to the client and if the clients accepts the freight quoted by them, they will have to pay the market access fee., which will be deducted from their account Balance. to administer the cost of maintaining the huge number of quotes done online., we have decided to introduce a QUOTE fee, deductable from the Brokerage Account, evrerytime a quote is made in the FCL listing. The main aim is to controll the quality of the quotes made + to make sure that the Freight Sellers who quote are genuine to afford such a fee.
 
The Quote can also be revised upto 5 times  before the closing time by pre viewing the competitors quote , While the 1st revision is free., the subsequent quote revisions from 2nd revision till 5th revision will  be charges at market fees as published under the Fees Section of the website.
 
The FCL section charges a market access fee per container and The market Access fee is only payable if the quote is accepted by the Freight Buyer. Once the buyer accepts the quote., both the parties will receive the Contact details of each other in their respective Inbox section. By this method., we limit the contact details to the parties involved and not with any other parties.
 
The LCL to Vessel Opening has listings from the market users. Users can contact them directly for business and settlement of business. The market will charge them a market Access fee from their brokerage Account
 
Schedule Section - Users can Search schedules and shipping lines and Airlines can ADD and UPDATE the schedule from time to time. Any change in vessel arrival can be changed online itself., thereby updating the market thru a single point.

 
Rules of operation.
 
1. Freight Buyers - (Exporters, Importers, Freight Forwarders, Freight Brokers and other intermediaries)
 
1.    You can register as Free Member or as Premium Member for an Annual fee as indicated in the fees and Charges section. All listing by Premium Members will show their listing as  a premium Member. When your membership expires., you will have to renew the Premium Member Status as we do not do automatic direct debit for the same. If the membership is not renewed, it will be converted to Ordinary Membership.
 
2.               Premium Members get Priority listing for their freight requirements.
 
3.               As a Freight Buyer., one can list his freight requirement in the various sections of the market.
 
4.               In the FCL section., your details will not be avble, unless you click accept for the quote listed there. By Clicking on "ACCEPT " only your contact details are send to their inbox for them to contact you and you shall also receive their contact details in yr INBOX. You will then contact them to settle the freight between yourselves. As a rule of engagement., you shall not settle any Freight by Credit card. You should always ask for a local agent to settle the freight at the point where the B/L is issued. The Platform will not take any responsibility for loss of money where a freight is settled by credit card.
 
5.               Your rating will depend on the number of the listing and the number of the quotes accepted.
 
6.               Freight Buyers do have access to view the schedules online.
 
7.               Should a Freight quoted to you by a shipping line / freight seller is not complied at a latter time., then you can lodge a Complaint to the Platform, where we will investigate and impose a Penalty on the freight sellers as applicable., if they are found to be at fault. Companies which fail to pay the Penalty will be "BLACK Listed".
 

  
2 Freight Sellers ( Freight Forwarders, NVOCC, Freight borkers, Shipping line Rep etc.)
 
1.    Registration is free and You will have access to all sections of the market from FCL - Vessel Opening.
 
2.               You will have to pay the Fees and charges as per our schedule,where applicable
 
3.               Subscriptions can be paid , Monthly, Half yearly or Annually.  and the same will be on a PAYG Basis (Pay as you GO). All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where requried to enhance the business from time to time. Refunds if any will be on a Case to Case basis., depending on the merrit of the case. Unused credits will be added to the subscription automatically when renewed.
 
4.               In the FCL.,section you can quote for the listings on a Shared based with the market or Exclusively. If quoted on a Shared based., you will have to wait for the rate to be accepted by the lister to get their contact details.  To controll the quality of the quotes., Freight Sellers will have to pay for the submitting quote and revising them as per our fees and charges. You will only get their contact details in your InBOX once they click on accept for the quote submitted.
 
5.               Should you wish to quote for an FCL listing on an Exclusive basis., you will get their details in your Inbox Immediately. However the charges for Exclusive listing is higher than normal shared quote.
 
6.               You can quote for listing in LCL to Vessel Opening by clicking on the Quote or Exclusive QUOTE Button. Brokerage will be immediately deducted from your account., with the Contact details in your Inbox .
 
 

3. Airlines  ( Cargo Operating Airlines)
 
1.    Registration is Free and you will have access to the Airline sections of the market.
 
2.               You will have to pay the Fees and charges as per our schedule., should you wish to access  the listing the Air Cargo section.
 
3.               Subscriptions can be paid , Monthly, Half yearly or Annually.  and the same will be on a PAYG Basis (Pay as you GO). All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where required to enhance the business from time to time. Refunds if any will be on a Case to Case basis., depending on the merrit of the case. Unused credits will be added to the subscription when renewed automatically.
 
4.               In the Air Cargo, section you can quote for the listings on a Shared based with the market or Exclusively. If quoted on a Shared based., you will get their details in your Inbox Immediately.  To controll the quality of the quotes., Airlines  will have to pay for the listing as per our fees and charges. You will only get their contact details in your InBOX once you Click QUOTE for the listing.
 
5.               Should you wish to quote for an Air Cargo listing on an Exclusive basis., you will get their details in your Inbox Immediately. However the charges for Exclusive listing is higher than normal shared quote.
 
6.               Airlines can add their Schedules and even open positions as Schedule in the Airline Schedule section.
 
 

 
4. Ship Brokers ( Dry, Bulk etc.)

1.               Registration is free and You will have access to all sections of the market from FCL - Vessel Opening.
 
2.               You will have to pay the Fees and charges as per our schedule., should u wish to contact one of the listing online.
 
3.               Subscriptions can be paid , Monthly, Half yearly or Annually.  and the same will be on a PAYG Basis (Pay as you GO). All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where required to enhance the business from time to time. Refunds if any will be on a Case to Case basis., depending on the merrit of the case. Unused credits will be added to the subscription when renewed automatically.
 
4.               You can Post all your Vessel openings in the VESSEL OPENING section for free of cost. You will get the the contact details of the interested charters or shippers in your inbox., once the desire to contact you.
 
5.               You can edit your listing anytime depending on the vessel''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s position., FREE of cost.
 
6.               To acess the BULK or Charter requirements listed by exporters or Importers / other intermediaries., you need to be a Paid member. with Monthly / Half Yearly / Annual subscription. All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where required to enhance the business from time to time.
 
7.               In the FCL.,section you can quote for the listings on a Shared based with the market or Exclusively. If quoted on a Shared based., you will have to wait for the rate to be accepted by the lister to get their contact details.  To controll the quality of the quotes., Freight Sellers will have to pay for the submitting quote and revising them as per our fees and charges. 5. Vessel Owners ( Vessel Owners and Regional Port Agents)

1.               Registration is free and You will have access to all sections of the market from FCL - Vessel Opening.
 
2.               You will have to pay the Fees and charges as per our schedule.
 
3.               Subscriptions can be paid , Monthly, Half yearly or Annually.  and the same will be on a PAYG Basis (Pay as you GO). All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where requried to enhance the business from time to time. Refunds if any will be on a Case to Case basis., depending on the merrit of the case. Unused credits will be added to the subscription when renewed automatically.

6.              Shipping Lines ( Liner Agents and Operators / NVOCC)
 
1.               Registration is free and You will have access to all sections of the market from FCL - Vessel Opening.
 
2.               You will have to pay the Fees and charges as per our schedule. where applicable.
 
3.               Subscriptions can be paid , Monthly, Half yearly or Annually.  and the same will be on a PAYG Basis (Pay as you GO). All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where required to enhance the business from time to time. Refunds if any will be on a Case to Case basis., depending on the merrit of the case. Unused credits will be added to the subscription automatically when renewed.

7.               -You can Post, Update / Edit  your Vessel schedules from time to time
 
     

  
7. Truck Operators
 
1.               Registration is free and You will have limited access to sections of the market.
 
2.               You can list your Empty truck position in the market.
 
3.               A flat Fee per truck listing will have to be paid for each listing.
 
4.               Subscriptions can be paid , Monthly, Half yearly or Annually.  and the same will be on a PAYG Basis (Pay as you GO). All Subscriptions will have equivalent amount credited to their account for the Market Access fee / Brokerage with the subscription valid for the period subscribed.  Additional Limits can be purchased where required to enhance the business from time to time. Refunds if any will be on a Case to Case basis., depending on the merrit of the case. Unused credits will be added to the subscription automatically when renewed.
 
5.               Interested clients will click on yr listing and you will have your contact details send to their InBOX in return for their contact details in your InBOX.
     

 Refund Policy .

1. We shall refund in full all payments if any charged to the customer by Paypal or Credit Card, within 7 days from such claim.,

- if the Payment is taken by error by the company.
- If the payment is made by error by the Client.
- If the client is not happy with the service within 30 days from such claim.

The company shall Investigate all Claims and the same be processed with customer preference as the first prority.

Given the low value of the subscription being charged., we shall refund in full the claim.

2. Customer Service Contact.

3. Delivery Policy.

We shall deliver the subscription for which the payment has been made by way of credit to their account for the monthly subscription paid.  If any issues, pls contact us on Live chat at the website or e-mail us at info@freightmarket.com or your nearest representative.

4. Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your details including e-mails to 3rd party. We do not store your card information online once the payment is made and the same is stored if any by the credit card processing company / banks in their system. we only have acess to these by your related subscription account. All your regn details are stored in a secured database without your payment details.

5. Dispute Policy Procedure.

Should you have a Dispute with any of the subscription service., you should first contact the company by e-mail on info@freighmarket.com and with a copy to your local representative.
We shall investiagate the matter and shall resolve the same to the best interest of the parties concerned.
 

Refund Policy :-  Based on the Merit of the case., refunds where applicable will be processed to the amount paid. Anyone found misusing the system or engaged in illegal activity will have their account terminated and the platform is not to be used for any such purpose. Where applicable for registration from certain countries., we will seek additional information before the account is allowed to operate. Companies from UN sanctioned countries must not use this platform and if found ., we will terminate the account without any further notice and refund any paid subscriptions less process fee of USD 50 per such case.
 
ALL Subscriptions are on a PAYG basis (Pay As you Go) and the same will NOT be billed to your credit card on a recurring basis. It is your responsibility to pay the subscriptions and market access charges from time to time as we do not Automatically debit on credit card for payment. Payment for Subscriptions will also give you equivalent Market Access Fee Limits to your account.
 
Customers who have not renewed the subscription can log in anytime to renew the account. and continue the usage for the period selected.
 
The rules and regulations for using the freightmarket.com platform will be updated from time to time.
